New York-based Brooklyn Dumpling Shop opened its first location in Austin in September 2023. The 1,500 sq.ft. space is warm and inviting, paying homage to the open automat concept established in the 1920s. The restaurant offers 20 food lockers and seating for 30, creating a flexible contactless experience where guests order on a touch screen, grab their food from the lockers, and find seating in the dining area or take their meal home.
